Here, I compared the good and flaws of those devices, which helps you to identify the best among the best. 

Design and Build: Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge would look similar to the siblings of the Samsung Galaxy S family and it comes with a curved display similar to Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge. While comparing it to its predecessors, the device is a little bit larger than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge. Even though the device will looks more gorgeous with its aluminum body and curvy design. The camera on the rear case looks less protruding than previous models and makes the device to be on a flat surface. The more interesting part is that, the device is still water resistant with this premium design.

On the other hand, Xiaomi Mi5 is the flagship model of the Chinese smartphone manufacturer, comes with excellent design with three dimensional ceramic rear case with angular edges. Even though, the ceramic body of the device attracts fingerprints, it gives a perfect look for the mobile.

Display: The S7 Edge is powered with Super AMOLED display with screen size of 5.5 inches and reproduces the colors perfectly on the screen. It supports 2,560 x 1,440 pixels of resolution with PPI of 510. Apart from this, the device offers top-notch brightness level and also offer better viewing angles to provide better user experience. Xiaomi Mi 5 comes with 5.15 inch display that supports max resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels with PPI of 427 and comes with a Corning Gorilla Glass which made the device to resist longer for scratches. In terms of color reproduction, the device offers a better contrast ratio as well as a better output for the user.

Camera: Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge comes with a brilliant image sensing technology, which is stabilized with 12 mega-pixel of the camera. It is a great success for the Samsung to offer a good camera for the consumers. The camera comes with f1.7 wide aperture, with very fast autofocus technology. The device comes with 16MP of the rear camera with a Sony IMX298 sensor, which offers 4-axis OIS. This is the first smartphone which comes with 4-axis optical image stabilization and helps the users to make a perfect shot, by reducing the blur caused during movement of objects.

Verdict: In terms of battery capacity, Samsung S7 Edge comes with 3600mAh of battery and Mi5 comes with 3000mAh of battery. Both the device comes with a unique power saving mode, which makes the device to run a longer period of time. Apart from this, Samsung S7 Edge comes with Marshmallow with Samsung TouchWiz UI, whereas Xiaomi Mi5 comes with MIUI. Both the devices still put up a great struggle with the same sort of points, Samsung S7 Edge comes with curved display, whereas Mi5 comes with ceramic finish.
