Google bought Fly Labs, a startup of video and image editing applications

Google, One of the largest tech giants announced “they acquired Fly labs”. Fly labs is well-known for photo and video editing applications. Their applications are so popular and got a milestone of 3 million downloads in just 18 months. 

As you know, Google photos offer a unique tool that includes music on background, themes and reorder images. Moreover, it also allows Android and iPhone users a unlimited storage service for videos or photos. Along with Flylabs, Google is trying to expand or bring change to their Google Photos. According to the latest reports, The company looking to bring a innovative features in its official photo gallery. The application such as Tempo, Crop and Fly are soon coming to Google Photos.

Google says,

“We’re excited to announce that Fly Labs has been acquired by Google! Our mission at Fly Labs has always been simple: to help people make the most of their photos and videos. We make video editing apps because we believe that there’s no better way to stay connected with your memories than by engaging with them creatively. In the last 18 months, our video editing apps have been downloaded more than 3 million times in over 150 different countries. More than 20 million videos have been created with apps made by Fly Labs.”

Since, all Fly Labs application are available for free of cost and no in-app purchases. You can find the download in the official store for next 3 months, but there will be no future update. Later on, these applications can be removed from the official store.
