Dark Souls 3 has been released in Japan and is available for Xbox Owners all over the world. But Bandai Namco, the action RPG’s publisher has asked the people all over the world using the International version, not to download and play the game, until the game has been officially released in their region.

Xbox owners in the west can play the international version of the by simply downloading it. Bandai Namco made a press release where in the publisher categorically asked the gamers to wait for game till it is officially released worldwide.

The main reason why Bandai Namco has asked the gamers not to download the international version now is because of the fact that they will be playing the game without the day one patch that the publisher is yet to push through for the game. In addition, the users who download the international version now will also not have the multiplayer feature.

The gamers who are currently playing the international version of Dark Souls 3 are also playing a much low quality version of the game. The Publisher has clearly stated that the international version of Dark Souls 3 needs more optimization such that the users can get the best gaming experience.

The possible reason why Bandai Namco does not want you to play the current international version, because while playing it you would end up feeling slightly down due to the lack of the resolution. The publisher wants the users to play the Dark Souls 3 in the best possible visual configuration such that they can actually enjoy the graphics and the game plot. Bandai Namco has stated that the day one patch for Dark Souls 3 will be released on April 12th for computers, Xbox One and PS4.
