HTC One M9 gets Android Marshmallow (6.0) firmware update soon

The Marshmallow firmware is up ahead! Most of the device that runs on Android Lollipop (5.0) operating system receives minor 5.1.1 update. What do we know about the Marshmallow? The latest Android OS will save more battery than Lollipop version.

Apart from minor enhancement in hardware performance, Marshmallow also replaces the voice assistant (Google Now with Now on Tap). It looks like HTC One M9 has got all required hardware to handle Marshmallow. The company hasn’t revealed the release date, but leaked image confirms that the date is not too far away.

Back in September, HTC posted a list of devices for the next Marshmallow update in the first session. As you can see in the image, it is stated that HTC One M9 is going to receive latest firmware in the beginning of December. A few days to go, be ready for the Android Marshmallow firmware.

At a glance, let’s take a quick look on HTC One M9 features and utilities. As we stated before, it has all suitable hardware for the next firmware update. The device receives former Lollipop 5.1.1 update over-the-air, which includes minor bug fixes and enhancement. Some report also suggests, the minor update also includes stage fright v2.0 bug fixes that exploited over thousand of Smartphones.
