26 Feb 2019

Hyundai is all set to step into the class of sedan makers with its brand new, Hyundai Genesis. Hyundai revealed its new project at the 2016 New York Auto Show and can very well take on the leaders in this section like Mercedes and BMW. What is more interesting is that Hyundai Genesis will have two versions: the Genesis Sedan and the Coupe. The experts at the 2016 New York Auto Show are quite of the belief that Genesis has all the material in it to take on the leaders.

There are many features that make the Hyundai Genesis stand out amidst the crowd. One of the many such reasons is the fact that the car will be available in Electric and Hatchback as well. Although, we do not know a lot about this new venture from the South Korean Car makers, the reports have it that the Hyundai Genesis will be available in the Hyundai retail stores by the end of next year. The reports also suggest that the car is expected to be priced somewhere around $60,000.

What is all the more interesting is the fact that 2016 has seen a significant rise in the sales figures of sedans and other luxury cars. Toyota’s Camry is currently leading the stage with approximately 30+% growths in the early part of the year. On the other hand, cars like Audi A4 and BMW 3 series has seen spike of about 35+%. It will be interesting to see how the customers react to the new launched Hyundai Genesis at the 2016 New York Auto Show.

The Hyundai Genesis is expected to have a European flavor in its look, while sporting a 3.3 liter twin turbo V6 engine. If things turn out to be good and Hyundai can meet the production deadlines, it will be an interesting market to look upon.
