Jailbreak iOS 9.3.1Loop: Things You Need to Know Right Now

26 Feb 2019

The passion of jailbreaking is gradually decreasing, since the release of iOS 9.3. The jailbreak community is unable to release the jailbreak tool for the recent updates of the iOS operating system, since the security flaws in the iOS are keep on removing by the Apple Inc. Well, it’s kept on striking in our mind, whether the Jailbreak tool will be released for iOS 9.3 and iOS 9.3.1.

After the surprise launch of jailbreak tool for iOS 9.1, the hope for iOS 9.3 jailbreak was increased by the Apple fans. But, the same does raise quick interrogation in our mind, whether iOS 9.3 and 9.3.1 will get a jailbreak tool or not? If we look into the past, Apple has released an updated patch to iOS 9.3 operating system due to the universal link rendering issue found in the Safari. As of now, iOS 9.3.1 is available to download and in turn, security loopholes present in the iOS 9.3 has been fixed in the iOS 9.3.1 update. But, officially Apple has not mentioned anything related to the fixed vulnerabilities in their security updates page of its official website. This gives us a little hope that, exploits which worked for iOS 9.3 will work for iOS 9.3.1.

Apart from this, an Italian developer Luca Tedesco has released a video that involves Jailbreak iOS 9.3 device, after the release of iOS 9.3 beta version. From this, we can develop a little hope in our heart that iOS 9.3 and iOS 9.3.1 can be jailbroken.

In addition to this, Pangu and TaiG has not disclosed anything related to the release of iOS 9.3.1 jailbreak and only one thing we can do is that, we can only hope that jailbreaking community is developing something to release them, when primetime comes.

Should You Update your current iOS?

Currently, if you have iOS 9.3 and you want to update to iOS 9.3.1, then obviously you upgrade your operating system. As i mentioned earlier, both iOS 9.3 and iOS 9.3.1 are in same security perspective. But, if you have iOS 9.2.1, it is strongly suggested not to update your iOS to 9.3 or later, if you want to jailbreak your device. Staying on low firmware version will gives you a higher probability of jailbreaking your device.
