LG G5’s release date is February 21, confirmed

As long as we know Samsung will be launching its next flagship smartphone, possibly a Galaxy S7 and an S7 Edge on February 21, LG has also confirmed the release date of its LG G5 flagship smartphone on the same day. LG Korea has unveiled a teaser GIF where it teases the name LG G5 as well as the release date – February 21.

Most of the new gadgets from big companies like Samsung and LG will be launched a day prior to the Mobile World Congress event in Barcelona in their respective press conferences. LG Mobile USA hasn’t revealed much detail rather than posting 3 strange photos that have “5” in it.

According to the rumors, LG G5 to sport a dual camera, fingerprint sensor and of course, latest Android Marshmallow firmware. Rumors also suggest that LG has moved the volume rockers from the rear side to the left side of the new device. SIM card slot and MicroSD card slot are reportedly placed on the right side of the device. Microphone and speaker are placed at the bottom of the device, while you will also find the new USB Type-C port in the bottom.
