The newly entered smartphone-maker OnePlus has started rolling out a minor software update (no, not Marshmallow one) to its recently launched OnePlus X smartphone, aiming at resolving the image corruption issue with its camera.

The company has rolled out the much expected OxygenOS 2.2.0 update to its OnePlus X handset in January-end, but this new firmware update is just 9.5MB in size and said to have a hotfix to resolve the camera issue of the phone. This problem is said to be begun after its last software update.

As this minor software update to OnePlus X is an incremental rollout by the company, some users may take a few days to get the update through OTA notification. But according to the official announcement on their forum, all devices must have received the update as of now. “We will try to cover everyone within the next 48 hours,” the company posted.

Since the last month’s OxygenOS 2.2.0 update, many users have had an image corruption issue when selecting the manual mode to save the images to SD card in the camera app. The last update also featured a USSD bug fix for India as well as some other minor enhancements like dual SIM preferences in system settings, security patches, OTA App upgrade and general optimizations.

Meanwhile, many users have reported that they are facing some issues while shooting in low light photos and videos. Some owners reported about not able to switch on the flash during shooting videos and a few users reported about the dialer problem. Some OnePlus X users have also mentioned about the lag in the video player. Still, there are no words about the Marshmallow update for OnePlus X so far.
