Surface Book and Pro 4 facing power problem, screen flickering and system instability issues

We heard many rumors and speculation about Microsoft two new rivals. A few months ago, Microsoft successful unveiled Surface Book and Surface Pro 4. The company had a moderate sale in first quarter sales, but failed to get good reviews from consumer.

As soon as, the device hit the market. The buyers started to report a bunch of issues in the Microsoft official forum. The common issues on the list such are screen flickering, power problems and system instability. Microsoft hasn’t released a software update, but promised to bring all fixes in the next update.

There is no news of the firmware release date, you can expect latest fixes in the coming weeks. Like in other brands, minor software bug can easily fix with a firmware update. Unluckily, the main problem in Surface Book and Pro 4 is battery management. According to the users report, the device won’t go to sleep when not in use or turn down the lid.

In an interview, Microsoft spokesperson says,

“We are focused on delivering a great experience to every Surface customer. We know a small set of Surface Book and Surface Pro 4 customers are experiencing issues and addressing that is a top priority for us. We have dedicated engineering teams working to get updates and fixes out as quickly as possible and we will continue to use our Surface Book and Surface Pro 4 support forums to share new information directly with our customers as it becomes available.”

On other end, Microsoft Windows 10 mobile phones failed to bring consumer attention. If we look back to the history, the windows phone shares pulled down to 1.7% in the 3rd quarter. The company trying hard to beat competitors, but some efforts couldn’t achieve their expected results.
