Moto X (2nd Gen) Pure Edition receives an Android Marshmallow Upate

Finally, Motorola brand started rolling out a Marshmallow update to second generation Moto X Smartphone. The update is available for 5 countries in the first session. The Moto Smartphones that comes under USA, Canada, India, Brazil and UK lined up to receive latest version OTA update.

As we all know, Marshmallow is a latest and stable version of the Android OS. The developer few changes in Marshmallow that carries Google Now on Tap voice assistant and contextual search feature. Moreover, they turn mobile OS to simple for better hardware performance. Some website reports, Marshmallow brought an enhancement in the battery life. It’s true! The latest version consumes less power and keep alive for long hours.

Additionally, upgraded device will get a new application permission settings. A newly programmed app permission interface pop-out approve and deny option while installing application. Since, the device highly focuses on battery life. Marshmallow bring you a new feature called “Doze“. It performs a sleep mode action, when the phone is inactive or not in use. On the other end, we have a new volume controls in the latest update.

Like we said, Android Marshmallow sent out on OTA update. Some users may not receive any software update notification. You don’t need to rush, the update will take time to reach. Just calm down and wait for a couple of days.

Step by step guidelines to check latest software updates:

Navigate to setting menu under home screen
Scroll down and look for About phone
Tap on system updates (it takes 2-3 minutes to scan for latest firmware)
If the device receives any latest firmware update, you need to follow some action before moving to update procedure.

(Note:  Make sure, the phone battery is above 60% and saved all file personal docs in external storage)
