Netgear launches Arlo Q ‘smart’ security camera with free cloud storage

19 Feb 2019

Netgear is manufacturing security cameras off-late and one of the latest offerings from the famously router making company is Arlo Q. Their brand new security camera, which has the most features than any other similar device on the market yet.

The important aspect here is the microphone and the free cloud storage – the power to save recordings up to a week using Arlo Q. It operates very well on battery and you can install it both indoors as well as outdoors.

All other cameras in this segment have adopted cloud storage for various reasons, but only Netgear is bold enough to deliver it for free. Other cameras, be it Samsung, Ezviz require monthly subscription models only. You can opt for a continuous video recording plan, but it is no longer necessary. You can choose it depending on your requirements.

The free storage feature will put the product on the central stage and customers will love to adapt it too. You can easily do two-way communication using the microphone and also send notifications on your mobile while it records.
