2017 Nissan Leaf to be better than Tesla Model S

Nissan Leaf is one of the few cars that have taken quite a bit of blow in sales owing to Tesla Model S and Chevy Bolt. Well, it seems that Nissan is gearing up to comeback with a reply for Tesla Model S and Chevy Bolt with its new 2017 Nissan Leaf. Initially the rumors came up stating that the 2017 Nissan Leaf is all set to be released in the upcoming months of the year, but as it seems now, the rumors will not be coming true. Instead, the 2017 Nissan Leaf is set to be released during early next year.

According to the recent rumors, the 2017 Nissan Leaf will be having a 40 kWh battery and a one time run range of 140 miles. If we go with the recent rumors, there will be some eyebrows raised about whether the 2017 Nissan Leaf (rumoured all electric) will be able to keep up with other cars in the market.

While we are still not certain of the genuinety of the rumors, it seems that some of the individuals are hoping for something better. There is no doubt of the fact that with the rumoured configuration, 2017 Nissan Leaf will not be able to stand a chance in the market.

On the other hand, Nissan is being slightly sluggish in the market, which certainly does pose the risk of Nissan losing out to the other market players in case of all electric vehicles. Probably as an effort, Nissan in its recent advertisement has stated that the upcoming 2017 Nissan Leaf is better than Tesla Model S. In addition, they have also claimed that upcoming leaf will be having a much lower price tag as well as a better driving range. It will be interesting to check out more details later, when the 2017 Nissan Leaf is actually announced.
