Android Marshmallow set for Samsung Galaxy S6, S Edge and Edge+ this February

While quite a few Nexus owners are still waiting for the Android Marshmallow rollout for their devices, owners of devices like HTC, MI have already started receiving their updates. The reports have it that Samsung is also gearing up for releasing a update for various devices like Samsung Galaxy Note 4, Note 5, Note Edge, Samsung Galaxy S6. The users should stay on their toes as they might just land up with an upgrade to Android 6.0 Marshmallow anytime now.

The update rollout was previously expected to be around December 2015, but it did not turn out to the case. It is already end of January but we do not have any rollout news. The rumors are catching up that any time now; the users might just have the much coveted Android Marshmallow upgrade rollout.

A new leak from XTECH Leaks, suggests that devices like Samsung Galaxy Note 4, Note 5 and Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+, will get a rollout in the early part of February. While other devices like Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge will have their rollout sometime during the later part of the month or early March. XTECH Leaks claims that the news comes in from a document that they have in possession. If the rumors turn out to be true, then the Android 6.0 Marshmallow rollout for carrier locked devices would also follow.

The rumors also have it that Samsung is already working on the beta version of Android 6.0.1 and has released it to a few Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge users. It will be interesting to see how things span out with companies like HTC and MI already rolling out Android Marshmallow updates for their devices.
