If the human race wants to survive, then we must quickly shut down all our efforts put in towards killer robot. If we do not stop ourselves from creating artificially intelligent robotic warriors, we might just have a terminator on our hands just like in the movie Terminator. Quite a few individuals believe that killer robot with artificial intelligence should not be used in warfare allowing them to kill human beings. To a certain extent, this will also be gravely unfair for the human race.

World leaders and billionaires held a meeting in a Ski resort in Switzerland during January 19 to January 23, to debate over the issue. According to Angela Kane, the German United Nations Representative for Disarmament Affairs believes that we have been late in deciding the course of action and as a result we might just have lost the plot.

It is already too late, said Angela Kane in Davos. She also added, “There are many countries and many representatives in the international community that really do not understand what is involved. This development is something that is limited to a certain number of advanced countries.”

Autonomous weapons have always been a point of doubt for various leaders. Firstly, it does not understand the difference between killings and a massacre. Weapons like drones with arms are not an issue because you have a human being holding the helm. But a drone with brains and the power to decide to shoot is like a time bomb ready to explode.

Various scientists and physicists have called for a ban on autonomous weapons with artificial intelligence. Stuart Russell, professor of Computer Science at University of California, Berkley has stated that “We are talking about autonomous weapons, which means that there is no one behind it. AI: artificial intelligence weapons precisely, weapons that can locate and attack targets without human intervention.”
