Samsung releases Android 6.0 Marshmallow for S6 and S6 Edge in South Korea

Samsung has released its first update to Android 6.0 Marshmallow for Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge in South Korea. The report comes in from SAMMobile. Although, Samsung had made its users wait quite a bit for the build, but as its seems, the users all over the world can now expect an update on their Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge soon.

The release was made after a small Beta test program, where in the users were allowed to download the beta Marshmallow firmware. The experts believe that Samsung was possibly testing out the user acceptance before rolling out the update on full flow.

There have been many reports of the changes in the interface that comes with the upgrade to Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The rumors also have it that the next device to have the update will be Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+. The possible next devices in line for the update to Android 6.0 Marshmallow are Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Note 4.

Android 6.0 Marshmallow has been released already on a few devices including Xiaomi MI 4, Verizon LG G3, HTC One M9, etc. The first in the list were Moto X Generation 2 and LG G4.
