Volkswagen reward cash to ease car owners, who got cheated on emission tests

A few months ago, millions of Volkswagen cars were recalled as it found some scandals on diesel emission testing. The company even started an investigation on the cars that affected by the issues. It is said that, they are specially keeping eye on the EA 288 diesel motor. The list includes Jetta, Golf lines, VW’s Passat and other EA 189 model.

The count not only remain in thousands, over 11 million Volkswagen cars got listed in the emission testing problem. According to the latest reports, the company planning to fix some cars with a software update and remaining unfixed car needs a mechanical upgrade.

According to the latest update, Volkwagen brand now offers a money to diesel car owners in the United States. They want to recover their lost brand value and consumer goodwill. The carmaker lost their reputation on a pre-installed software that cause an issue in emission test.

The car owners looking for the compensation and filed the lawsuit against the company in the name of lower resale value. Volkswagen says, they are going to make the offer announcement tomorrow (Monday). The offer amount is not yet revealed by the company. Some automotive website reports, Volkswagen is going to pay $1250 for the diesel owners.
