With the new technological advancements among various brands, the demand for chic and features are now surely not exclusive to Apple ‘iPhone’s alone. Xiaomi Mi5 has now landed in a big battle of the latest and greatest hardware with its market competitor iPhone SE. Though the latter is a 4 inch model, the 5 inch smart phone model of a Xiaomi Mi5 has shown to be a neat key player in the smart phone world.
There are a lot of reasons why the exclusive features of these 2 smart phones are extraordinarily different and stand out for themselves. Here are some of them,
Display: It would be unfair to say that one of them overpowers the other in terms of quality or style, because clearly both of these do considerable justice to what they promise. The iPhone SE is a 4 inch screen that is LED-backlit IPS LCD (Retina) display with a resolution of 640 x 1136 pixels. The most striking feature of the new iOS 9.3 update is the Night shift mode. Xiaomi Mi5 has some interesting features too. Its 5.15 inch full HD IPS display comes with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It comes with another striking feature of the Sunlight display that is perfect for the times with harsh lighting.
Build and design:
The build of iPhone SE is slightly similar to the older model of iPhone 5s. But we do see that the new model looks like a recycled design of the previous. It follows the same rounded edges and the top as well as bottom is made up of glass with the Apple logo that matches the color of the phone you choose. This phone comes in 4 beautiful colors.
While the Xiaomi Mi5 looks more like its prior phones of Mi Note which also shares an uncanny similarity with Samsung phones. It also comes with a 3D glass surface on it, which makes it look sleek and stylish. Yet, the other model of Xiaomi Mi 5 does come in a different model which has a 3D ceramic body which is apparently not available in India.
Hardware:
The iPhone SE has a 64-bit A9 chip (with M9 motion co-processor). It comes with storage of 16 GB and 64 GB memory, but any other expandable memory isn’t supported. The same processor used in this model was present in iPhone 6s too. The Xiaomi Mi 5 comes with a processor of 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor. The storage space in this phone is 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal memory. Here again, the memory is not expandable as the iPhone SE. An interesting feature in Xiaomi Mi5 is its dual SIM feature which makes it more convenient for office and personal use, while the iPhone SE comes with a single SIM usage.
Camera:
The all new iPhone SE comes with a spectacular camera of 12-megapixel iSight camera that has an aperture of f/2.2 and dual LED flash. It also has a 1.2-megapixel FaceTime camera on the front with f/2.4 aperture.
The Xiaomi Mi5 has some interesting things to talk about its camera too. It sports a 16-megapixel camera, auto flash, phase detection autofocus and also a 4-axis optical image stabilization. The front camera of Xiaomi Mi5 has a 4-megapixel (2 micron pixel) camera.
Software:
The iPhone SE supports its newest IOS update of 9.3 while the all new Xiaomi Mi 5 comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based MIUI 7.
Battery:
Now the most important feature that everyone wishes to have is a long battery life, and you can obviously not be disappointed in this aspect as the Xiaomi SE has a battery life of 3,000mAh battery (non-removable) while the iPhone SE has a battery capacity of 1,642 mAh (non-removable). We can indeed say that these two amazing brands have fortunately come a long way, and seem to be the latest remarkable phones in the market right now.
