This is how Xiaomi Redmi Pro looks like – Specs, Image & Price

Touted as Xiaomi’s most expensive Redmi phone ever, the all new Redmi Pro smartphone’s first official teaser image is out now. The official teaser image where Xiaomi’s CEO Lei Jun holds the phone in his hand and the upper rear part of the phone is visible.

This device will be launching on 27th July 2016 along with the rumored MacBook killer Mi Notebook. The visible part of the device is enough for us to conclude that the device is the same as what we have got from the leaks so far.

Earlier, Xiaomi CEO confirmed that the Redmi Pro will be boasting a MediaTek Helio X25 processor with a deca-core 2.5 GHz CPU. The rest of the specifications are – 5.5-inch full HD 1080p AMOLED display, 4GB of RAM and Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based MIUI 8 firmware.

Surprisingly, Xiaomi will be adding a dual camera setup for the first time. In Xiaomi Redmi Pro, 13MP dial camera has been added by the company. There are a couple of photos taken by the dual camera phone have surfaced online, which shows the DSLR-kind of bokeh effect in photos. Images added below:

Regarding the pricing, the leaked information suggests that the base model will be sold at RMB 1,299 (around $195 USD) and the top model with higher storage capacity will be priced at RMB 1,399 (around $210 USD) when it will be launched on July 27, i.e., tomorrow.
