Busch Gardens Tampa, Seaworld Offering Deals As Season Winds Down

As the theme park season comes to a close, several theme parks in Florida and in the Tampa Bay area are offering deals to Florida residents to check out their parks and are honoring the state’s first responders during the month of September.

Busch Gardens Tampa

Busch Gardens Tampa has a special deal available for first responders through September 30. Qualified first responders can receive free admission for themselves and up to four discounted tickets per park for friends and family for $50 per ticket. That is roughly half the price of a regular admission ticket. Qualifying first responders should visit the Busch Gardens Tampa website for more information and to register.

Qualified first responders for the Busch Gardens Tampa offer include all Florida fire rescue first responders, Florida emergency medical services employees (EMT/EMS), all Florida police and sheriff offices, Florida Highway Patrol, Florida Department of Corrections, Florida Department of Law Enforcement, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission field officers, Florida Forest Service Forest Rangers, Florida Park Service law enforcement, Department of Homeland Security law enforcement agents, and Florida Department of Environmental Protection law enforcement.

SeaWorld Orlando

SeaWorld Orlando is offering a similar deal as Busch Gardens Tampa. From Sept. 1-30, first responders will receive free admission to SeaWorld Orlando. The first responders can also receive up to four tickets for friends and family for just $50 per ticket. The qualifying first responders are the same for both programs.

SeaWorld also offers the Waves of Honor tribute program. The program provides active members of U.S. armed forces and as many as three direct dependents with free admission to the SeaWorld and Busch Gardens parks, as well as Sesame Place.

Discovery Cove

SeaWorld-owned Discovery Cove is offering a special deal for Florida residents on its dolphin swim experience package. Through December, Florida residents can visit the park for a day and add a dolphin swim experience package for $219. The package also includes snorkeling with tropical fish, hand-feeding exotic birds, all meals and drinks, and access to a resort pool and beach. The discount saves visitors $40 off the regular price of the package.

A Discovery Cove Day Resort package without the dolphin swim will cost Florida residents $149. Visitors who purchase a ticket will also get free access to its sister parks, SeaWorld Orlando and the Aquatica water park. The Discovery Cove ticket provides visitors with unlimited access to SeaWorld through Jan. 31.
