Tampa Bay Gearing Up For 4th Annual Fall Stampede

19 Feb 2019

When it really counts, the people of Tampa Bay come together for a good cause. This has been evident over the past three years with an impressive turnout for the annual Fall Stampede presented by Chick-Fil-A hat benefits the Children’s Cancer Center. This year, event organizers expect an even larger gathering.

For 2015, the Fall Stampede will be at a brand new location at the Cotanchobee Fort Brooke Park located just behind the Amalie Arena in the Channelside District. Although the main focus of this event is to help children who are receiving treatment for cancer, visitors have the opportunity to enjoy a day of fun.

The Fall Stampede will take place before but also during the Family Fun Walk and the 5K run, which will be chip timed so both seasoned runners and amateur joggers have the same opportunity. Although every year has been exciting, organizers went out all this year.

For all walkers and runners, a wonderful breakfast is being donated by Chick-Fil-A following the race. In addition, guests have the chance to enter the “”Feed Yer Herd” contest with the winner receiving a Chick-Fil-A Tampa Bay prize package valued at more than $550. One fortunate winner will receive different Chick-Fil-A coupons that can be redeemed at 39 different locations.

Raffle tickets will also be sold for $5 each for a wide range of prizes worth more than $500. To make the Fall Stampede even more special and successful, over 30 vendors will be on hand to sell everything from gear to food and just about everything in between. The vendors will be set up after the race and eager to make everyone feel at home.

Registration for the Fun Walk and 5K race is at 6:30 am on September 12. The 5K race will start at 8:00 am, the one mile Fun Walk begins at 8:45 am, and then at 9:15 am, guests can register for the Mascot Race in person or ahead of time by visiting the www.FallStampede.com website.

Anyone living in or visiting Tampa Bay should consider going to the Fall Stampede. Not only do the proceeds go to a worthy cause but this is a full day of great fun for the entire family.
