In January 2017, Kelloggs introduced Gluten-Free Kellogg’s® Rice Krispies. It was basically launched for the consumers who are either gluten sensitive or suffering from celiac disease. The product eliminates barley malt and basically contains brown rice that are whole grain in nature thereby providing consumers with flavorful and unique product. Rice Krispies does not contain artificial flavors or colours.
In July 2018, Olympus Corporation received an approval from the US Food and Drug Administration (US FDA) for BF-MP190F bronchoscope. The BF-MP190F is an ultra-slim, fully rotatable diagnostic bronchoscope is compatible with the radial EBUS probe and an array of sampling devices in order to expand access to smaller airways & distal lesions. This bronchoscope assists pulmonologists to efficiently access, sampling, and diagnosis of lung cancer with its ratio of a 1.7 mm working channel to distal-end outer diameter of 3.0 mm.
Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting (GOIC) singed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with China Railway Signal and Communication Corporation (CRSC) Limited, a recognized railway signaling and communication solutions provider from China, to develop railway high-speed railway network in Gulf region. After the completion of this project high-speed trains will run over the network of six countries at maximum speed capacity up to 350km per hour.

On July 2018, China based consumer goods company; Cybex a part of Goodbaby International Holdings Limited, launched Cybex Sirona M with SensorSafe 2.0 technology, a convertible safety seat that has a smart phone synched with it. The product has a safety technology that gives alert during unsafe conditions in roads. This technology helps in baby monitoring in case the child has unbuckled himself while the vehicle is in motion and gives signal regarding the extreme temperature inside the vehicle, which may harm the child.
In May 2018, Novartis received U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval for Kymriah for the treatment of adult patients with relapsed or refractory large B-cell lymphoma after two or more lines of systemic therapy including diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL), high-grade B-cell lymphoma and DLBCL arising from follicular lymphoma.
In August 2018, BASF S.E. launched an advanced grade of thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), Elastollan® that is expected to improve the production of decorative shoe parts and shoe shanks in high-performance shoes while maintaining superior mechanical properties such as resistance from UV rays. The Elastollan® grade of thermoplastic polyurethanes is compatible with the automation process, allowing parts to be removed easily from the mold, thereby allowing greater design freedom for decorative shoe parts.

In October 2017, Ford Motor Company launched its all-new “Pedestrian Detection”, designed for pre-collision assistance to the driver. This addition to the existing system utilizes RADAR and cameras to scan the roadway to prevent road accidents by generating alert/ warning to the driver. In case the system finds ignorance towards the warning, it takes full control of breaking system to avoid the collision.
